- Yes, we are insured! We are insured by ProFur, a specialty insurance policy for pet care professionals.
- All the dog walkers of Fit Dog Club are all insured for our dog walking services.
- Yes! All employees of Fit Dog Club must complete their Pet First Aid Course before being able to become a Dog Walker.
- This ensures we know the steps to take if a dog is injured or if an emergency was to occur.
- Yes! Many references for our services are available upon request.
- All Dog Walkers must have a police clearance/criminal record check before becoming a Dog Walker for Fit Dog Club.
- Yes, we do pick up or drop-offs from daycare or grooming appointments by request only.
- Yes, we offer 20% discounts for more than one dog,

- Our hours of operation are 10:00 am-5:00 pm Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday are based by availability only.
- Our before afters and after hours are based on availability. Our before hours are from 8:00 am-10:00 am or 5:00 pm-7:00pm for an additional charge.
- You can schedule your walks through our software (either on your computer or on our mobile app) which will be provided to you if you wish to join Fit Dog Club Toronto Inc.
- The software we use to schedule services is very easy to use, and you will be taught in person how to book a service at the initial meet and greet.
How would I cancel an appointment and what is your cancellation fees?
- Please cancel your services through our software on the internet or through the mobile app.
- You must cancel by 5:00 pm the day before a service or a full service-fee amount will be applied to your invoice.
- You can book appointments as far in advance as you want through our software online or on the mobile app.
- Yes, we charge Holiday hours and Holiday Fees.
- When a service is booked on a holiday, an extra 25% will be applied to your invoice for that particular service.
- Holiday services are based on availability only.
- We give your dogs 100% beef liver treats.
- If a dog has a specific allergy or cannot have 100% beef liver, under the approval of the client, we can provide a sweet potato or fish treat.
- Fit Dog Club Toronto Inc. is dog park free!
- Dog Walkers are not allowed under contract to take any dogs to dog parks.
- We stick to just walking your dog and getting in as many kilometers as possible!
- Fit Dog Club Toronto Inc. groups dogs according to 1) Personality 2) Size of dog 3) What dog’s get along and walk best with each other.
- Fit Dog Club Toronto Inc. tries to walk a maximum of 2 dogs in our Semi-Private Walks and 4 dogs maximum in Pack Walks.
- Structure!
- You will never see Fit Dog Club at the dog park with a group of dogs off-leash, running around and going crazy.
- We aim for 2-4 dogs per pack
- Fit Dog Club likes to keep our groups of dogs moving quickly.
- Fit Dog Club wants our groups of dogs to enjoy being in each other’s presence, sniffing together and having a good time, all in a safe and stable pack environment.
- Fit Dog Clubs goal is to drop all of the dogs off after the walk, tired and content.
- All keys are stored in a secure location, in a locked safe.
- Each key is labeled only with the pet’s name, and the client address list is kept in a completely separate location to maintain confidentiality.
- Our regular walking hours for group walks and puppy visits are Monday-Friday 10:00am-4:00pm.
- Fit Dog Club requires that all group walk dogs be up to date on their vaccinations, spayed or neutered if over 6 months of age, and free of all parasites (fleas/ticks/mites, worms, any contagious skin conditions), as well as any other infectious illnesses (kennel cough, giardia, etc).
- Fit Dog Club requires: that all dogs be current on their Rabies, (DA2PP- Distemper, Adenovirus (Hepatitis), Parvovirus, Parainfluenza) Bordetella, Leptospirosis vaccinations. Vaccinations must be administered by a licensed veterinarian a minimum of 48 hours prior to Fit Dog Club services being performed and proof of records of vaccinations must be sent to Fit Dog Club through our mobile app in the “Conversation” private tab.
